It happens all the time. People ask me what I think of their business card! I try to be honest without being rude, because chances are they’ve made it themselves and know they need some help if they’re asking me. When starting a business, the first step is just to get a card to put int he hands of potential customers. You may or may not have time or money to hire a designer, but once up and running, it’s time to review and take it to the next level. In the case of these two clients (oliverspencerattorney.com and realbasics.com), they had home made cards with no identity (pictured on the left). In a short amount of time and a fairly small budget, I was able to give their card a facelift along with a unique logo, and get them professionally printed quickly.
