It happens all the time. People ask me what I think of their business card! I try to be honest without being rude, because chances are they’ve made it themselves and know they need some help if they’re asking me. When starting a business, the first step is just to get a card to put int he hands of potential customers. You may or may not have time or money to hire a designer, but once up and running, it’s time to review and take it to the next level. In the case of these two clients ( and, they had home made cards with no identity (pictured on the left). In a short amount of time and a fairly small budget, I was able to give their card a facelift along with a unique logo, and get them professionally printed quickly.
