I’ve posted about the great work JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) does, in their race for a cure for Type One Diabetes. I do a lot of design work for their events and marketing, but had the honor of designing a shirt this spring for a dear friend of my daughters who has T1D.Several years ago, this friend created a team called the “prancing pancreases”, sets a goal of how much to raise and then participates in a race called “Beat the Bridge” here in Seattle. This year this little team raised over $3000! Consider taking part in a race that supports T1D or JDRF this year – make a difference, be a part of the cure! To find a race or donate, click here.
