I’ve always been captivated by butterflies and anything with wings — even the everyday miracle of airplane flight feels wondrous to me. The way these delicate insects drift on air is both fascinating and beautiful, which is why my company, CMYKate Designs, has long been represented by a butterfly: a symbol of change and transformation. Whenever I spot a butterfly (or any winged creature), I like to imagine it’s a friendly hello from someone fluttering by. Oh, what I would give for just one day on this earth with wings!
