In my design work for the Columbia Basin Development League in Washington state, I created the new newsletter and branding for the annual conference, emphasizing the significance of the Columbia Basin Project. This federally authorized initiative is the largest of its kind in the United States, generating over $4 billion in annual economic activity through diverse benefits that extend to local, state, and national economies. The project is known for its substantial power generation at Grand Coulee Dam and features nearly 700,000 acres of irrigated agricultural land. It also offers a wealth of recreational opportunities, attracting three million visitors annually to fish, hunt, camp, and explore, while contributing to the creation of biodiverse wetlands that enhance the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge and support flood control and water uses across multiple sectors.
